EDUO 9521: Stress Free Math
The following four course series entitled ANYONE CAN LEARN MATH is designed to help teachers develop the tools needed to make math accessible to all students.
- EDUO 9521: Stress Free Math
- EDUO 9522: Math Made Easy
- EDUO 9523: Learning Math in Groups
- EDUO 9524: Learn Math Through Writing
Math anxiety is a big problem in every classroom and significantly reduces a student's ability to learn math. The content learned in EDUO 9521 Stress Free Math will teach you how to take the stress out of your math curriculum and open the math door to your math "phobic" students.

EDUO 9522: Math Made Easy
The content learned in Math Made Easy will teach you how to utilize your students' natural learning strengths so that they will be engaged in your math curriculum as well as make significant learning gains. Math Made Easy provides a foundation for the other three courses in this series, but it is NOT a prerequisite.

EDUO 9523: Learning Math in Groups
Not everyone can learn math by working independently, especially if they already struggle with the subject. Some students need to interact with others while learning. It should also be noted that the new Common Core State Standards requires students to be able to solve problems while working with others. The content in Learning Math in Groups is design to give teachers the skills needed to implement cooperative learning while teaching math. Doing so will help move their curriculum more inline with the new standards as well as reach the students that require a more social approach to learning.

EDUO 9524: Learn Math Through Writing
There are many students who learn best while utilizing language. Writing is an integral part of utilizing language and infusing writing into your math curriculum will help all students truly learn the concepts. It should also be noted that writing across the curriculum is an important aspect of the Common Core State Standards. The content learned in Learn Math Through Writing will help teachers integrate writing into their math curriculum. Doing so will help move their curriculum more inline with the new standards as well as significantly improve student learning.
